SMARTPAVE installation instructions

SMARTPAVE - The lightest and easiest paving solution.

SMARTPAVE is perfect for revitalising any old area of paving or simply creating a traditionally paved patio effect on pretty much any solid surface. The following instructions will make the intallation effortless!

1) Plan the desired area which you intend to pave and ensure the surface is clean. A stiff brush is all you need to clean off any dirt, moss or algae that may have formed.

2) Using a plaster whisk, drill with a whisk or even just a stick, mix the adhesive until the consistency is workable but not too wet. Spread the adhesive out over an area of where your first few slabs are to be laid, ideally around 6mm thick (you can remove any low spots in your existing surface by increasing the thickness of the adhesive). Place your slab onto the adhesive and shuffle into place with your hands. You may want to check the level the slab using a spirit level and use a line band to ensure that your slabs will follow a nice straight line. Remember, you can even disguise drain covers with SMARTPAVE!

(You will require about 3.33Kgs per square metre @ 6mm depth)

3) Repeat step 2 until the entire area is covered. You may need to cut certain slabs to suit. This is easily done using any size of angle grinder. Intricate cuts are made easy due to the thickness of SMARTPAVE.

4) The adhesive will only take a couple of hours to harden before you can use your new patio. It's really that simple. A new patio in a matter of hours!
