Kota Black cobble setts are limestone based, meaning they are less riven and much smoother than sandstone, while still possessing a natural look. Kota Black cobbles are consistent in colour, though when newly laid the cobbles possess a deep dark black natural hue that lightens to a charcoal grey over time due to exposure to natural sunlight.
When wet, the cobbles will return to their dark black original colour. Colour enhancing sealers are also available, allowing the cobbles to retain their original tone for longer periods.
