This Large Colony Bat Box is designed with large maternity colonies of crevice dwelling bats in mind, especially Common and Soprano Pipistrelles. The black external surfaces promote heat absorption, while the internal ceramic heat sinks retain heat and stabilise the temperature of the box. The convenient grooved landing ladder continues internally for ease of access. The box itself is made from precision cut FSC certified panels to ensure a dry, draught free, durable product that is both high quality and value for money. -

This Pole Mounted Bat Box is an ideal option when no suitable building or tree is available to mount a bat box. It comes as standard with a 4, 5 or 6 metre metal pole or banding to fit to your own pole. This, along with its standalone design, offers great flexibility in placing the bat box in the optimum position. The box itself is made from FSC certified exterior grade plywood with ceramic inserts, making it both hardwearing and durable. It is available in Roost Maternity or Large Colony Bat Box options, with a further choice of a single box or two boxes back-to-back. -

It is the ideal solution for mitigation or habitat conservation projects where no suitable building or tree is available on which to mount a bat box. A weatherproof recycled plastic outer shell protects a wooden roost chamber, providing a durable and safe environment for bats. The roosting area runs around the central pole, allowing bats to move within the box to select their preferred micro-habitat. This bat box is available in 4, 5, and 6 meter pole length options, with two internal configuration options for suitable for either crevice or cavity roosting bats.
